Description

extractBytes() only allocates a single byte for the terminating NULL. It needs to allocate enough bytes for a NULL character in the given encoding.

Changes reverted: ticket 5869 needs to be either fixed or rolled back, and the original test code in csdetest.cpp helps expose 5869's problem
